Local Church Teaching Module

Over the past year and a half or so, we've been lightly promoting a new area of ministry for SIMBSS.  The idea for these modules came about during covid.  International travel was halted, and a great need in local churches became apparent.

We were able to conduct one of these teaching modules and had another scheduled, but it had to be canceled due to my father's unexpected passing. We've had a couple of inquiries that are still in the discussion stage, and our prayer is that they'll materialize in the near future.

The February 2023 Report of SIMBSS

The previous post explains the use of this blog, so I won't go into detail again.  However, the February report is completed and you can access it by clicking on the link "Monthly Reports" on the right side of this post.  Once there, click the link for "2023 Monthly Reports", or just click HERE.

Change Isn't Always a Bad Thing

SIMBSS has had a website since early 2014, but it has been less than effective.  Most of that is due to my failure to keep it updated, but if you've ever been responsible for a website then you probably know the struggle.  After considering the cost and time required to keep it up and working effectively, I made the decision earlier today to take it down and cancel the hosting service.

We've also promoted SIMBSS to potential supporters and updated current supporters using Facebook, email and regular mail.  I suppose every method has its pros and cons.

I've used this blog a few times, but never really emphasized it much.  With the cancellation of the SIMBSS website, I am going to start using this blog more intentionally.  My plan right now is to make it the primary means of reporting on SIMBSS.  I'll still use Facebook and email, but all I'll be doing is sending out the link to the blog.  I'll also be sharing additional information along the way.

As far as the monthly reports are concerned, if you look to the right of this post, you'll see a link to "Monthly Reports".  Once there, you'll see links to Mission reports by year, and from there you'll see the monthly reports from within that year.  If there is an earlier report you'd like to see, just let me know and I'll get it to you.
