Baptisms

In early March, there were 3 churches who gathered together for a baptismal service where 18 converts were baptized.  This is not uncommon for churches to do this in the Solomon Islands, and in fact, I was privileged to witness a similar event several years ago.

Pastor John Baptist-Jordan MBC (that's really his name), Pastor Steven Kuni-New Faith MBC and Pastor Lawrence Kwai-Windy Hill MBC and their congregations gathered at the Tina River for this wonderful event.  The Tina River is below the Jordan MBC, which is a common place for churches in the area to join together for services like this.
